One-way passage hygiene stations are used to control personnel access to areas where strict sanitary and hygiene requirements are followed. When this equipment is installed at the entrance to the buffer area of the plant, the employee cannot enter there without completing the disinfection procedure. One-way passage hygiene stations may include the following units:
- hand washing unit;
- hand disinfection unit;
- footwear cleaning unit;
- entrance control (turnstile).
The range of units differs according to the model. For instance, some types of hygiene stations are designed for hands disinfection only when others include handwashing and disinfection.
